Scope & preparation
When this is useful
Opening an account may require information about the applicant, business activity and authorised users. Assistance is useful when a person or organisation needs to understand the bank’s document request and organise its response. Choosing account features and accepting terms remain the applicant’s decisions.
How ADPR can help
ADPR can help arrange the checklist, coordinate signatory information and track the application. Identity checks, verification and approval are performed by the institution. No account can be promised, and no one should share an OTP or login to speed up the process.
A typical process
Confirm the applicant, account purpose and bank contact.
Collect the bank-requested information through an agreed channel.
Coordinate outstanding queries until the bank communicates its decision.
What to prepare
- Account purpose and applicant type
- Current account-opening checklist
- Authorised signatory information where requested
Possible scope outputs
- Account application preparation plan
- Information and document tracker
- Bank query record
The proposal will confirm what is included, who is responsible and the applicable timeline. These are scope examples, not a fixed package.
Questions worth asking
Can an account be opened without verification?
The bank determines and performs its required checks. ADPR cannot bypass verification or guarantee approval.
Should an OTP be shared with the coordinator?
No. OTPs, PINs, passwords and other access credentials must remain private.
